There are three different SeaWorld locations in the U.S:
San Diego, California (opened on March 21, 1964) Orlando, Florida (opened on December 15, 1973) San Antonio, California (opened on May 27, 1988)
The purpose of SeaWorld is to entertain and educate others by using marine animals, and also to rescue and rehabilitate animals in need.
Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Program: SeaWorld has rescued manatees, whales, dolphins, seaturtles, and other animals. Seaworld was also the first to host the birth of a killer whale in captivity, and the birth of a marine mammal as a result of artificial fertilization.
